This quality extends to the design as well. We insist that our suppliers use only mortice and tenon joints further reinforced with teak dowels in the construction of our benches – full stop.

You will be able to buy a similar bench cheaper, but it will not be of the exacting standards that you find here – for example many cheaper versions are bolted together and will develop that annoying ‘wobble’ over time.

The dense, oily qualities of teak are well documented and these are present at the highest levels in the Grade A varieties that we use.
This guarantees long lasting qualities long term whatever the weather and environment this bench finds itself subjected to.
The silver-grey patina associated with aged teak will also be particularly pertinent in this bench.
For cosmetic purposes you can restore the original golden, honey colour of the timber either with a mild, soapy water mix our by using our range of Teak Care Products.
