The combination of natural oak branches that have fallen naturally from the tree with cut planks for the seating works perfectly.
The knots and splits that occur naturally in oak wood are preserved as part of the design to give a stunningly rustic feel to the whole thing.

It’s the attention to detail that shines through above all.
The individually chosen branches are functional as well as aesthetic – the down-poles on the A-Frame are thicker at the bottom to offer a good, sturdy platform that will stand up to the elements and even with the cut planks where the splits and gnarls have been preserved.
Then there’s the combination of cut and natural oak used in the design of the seat – making it the feature-piece of the design that it should be.
The wide, flat arms give it that luxury aspect in amongst the rusticity.

What about the swing?
The tough, plaited rope is taped off at both ends to prevent fraying and the steel swinging mechanism is specifically shaped in a similar style to carbines on a boat with a smoothed ridge to allow the swing to run smoothly whilst at the same time fixing it in one place so it doesn’t drop.
It is crimped tight on both sides by solid pieces of oak that are pre-drilled for the purpose.
Steel bolts hold the frame in place and make the whole thing easy to put up and down.
These also add to the rustic look alongside the pre-treated wood itself.
Please Note: The product does come flat-packed but all tools and instructions are supplied. Assembly takes around two hours.
