Mortice and tenon joints are used to fix the individual parts and these are reinforced with teak dowels to ensure long lasting usability with a seamless finish.

This long lasting durability extends to the teak itself as well. This timber is well known for being quite simply the best wood for use in outdoor furniture.

Its naturally protected, oily nature means it requires no maintenance and can be just left to age gracefully. Over time it will assume a silver-grey colour with the natural ageing process.

Cosmetically this can be removed with our range of Teak Care Products or by using a mix of mild soapy water and a house brush on a warm summer’s day.

If you go for the second option please allow plenty of time for the Love Bench to dry.
