Say hello to the family bird …
Or Baz, Barbs and the two Billy’s to be exact!
Let’s tell you a little about the Family Bird …
Fresh in from Vietnam, Baz, Barb and the two Billy’s started off life as 44-gallon metal shipping drums – to look at them here that’s difficult to believe, we know.
But that is the case, they’re 100% recycled shipping drum and proud of it!
Their individual parts are hand cut and welded similar to the birds pictured but obviously this makes each and every Family Bird different in their own special way.
The whole family love being outdoors in the fresh air and their big feet mean they can cope with pretty much any surface.
A tough lacquered coating applied by hand protects them against the elements and keeps them all nice and warm in winter – it’s a lot colder over here compared to Vietnam you understand.
Oh, the Bird Family asked us to give Arron Jackson a mention as well – he’s the Australian guy responsible for breathing life into them in the first place – he used to be jewellery designer you know – really clever fella!
