All our Teak Benches are built by expert crafts-people who use mortice and tenon joints further reinforced with teak dowels.
This ensures the integrity of the timber is preserved and offers you the piece of mind that it won’t develop that annoying wobble over time.
The honey-coloured lustre of the teak will age to a silver-grey as the ageing process matures over time.
However, if honey-coloured hue is preferred then, purely for cosmetic purposes, the ageing can be removed with a little guidance from our Teak Care Advice.
In fact, that really is the beauty of teak, it can simply be left to its natural devices without any maintenance at all.
The natural protection offered by the high oil content and dense nature of the grain mean it can be left outside all year round and not be adversely affected by the elements.
