The timber is from responsibly managed forests and is pre-treated during production to give a long lastin g cover once in situ.
You’ll notice from the pictures that they look really attractive – especially in direct sunlight.
The pre-cut handle in the lid – which isn’t blatantly obvious from the pictures – makes opening and closing the thing much more convenient.
There is also a supporting arm on the lid to keep it open along with a steel chain complete with easy-release clasp that attaches to the bin lid itself so they both open and close in one smooth motion..

They are delivered flat-packed but the simple assembly will take you, or someone else, no time at all.
Dainty little locks keep the doors closed whilst your bin is inside it and there is also a chamfered strip of timber fitted across the bottom of the door frame, this prevents your bin from rolling out if on a slope.
Most importantly, of course, they hide those ugly Council Wheelie Bins!
