The wood is also not susceptible to cracking, warping or splitting over time …

The original golden hue of the wood can easily be restored with mild soapy water and some elbow grease.
This is purely for cosmetic purposes the beauty of teak means that, in actual fact, you don’t have to do anything to it at all.
