Upcycled furniture is a growing trend with both commercial and domestic buyers and the products on offer just seem to get more and more inventive all the time.
In this piece a genuinely decommissioned Indian Moped has been cut in two, lengthened and had a bar unit incorporated into the middle.
Comes complete with genuine signage and number plate sprayed on!
The detail on the classic moped design is kept wherever possible with the headlight handle bar unit, suspension unit on the front wheel and vespa-type engine housing.
The spare wheel has even been fixed on the back!
The bar unit is made from a combination of reclaimed hardwood top with a painted finish and iron storage unit for bottles and the like again with a tough painted finish.
The front and back wheels on the moped allow the whole unit to be moved easily with sturdy lock-in-place supports on the bar unit keeping it stationary when in situ.
