The hand craftsmanship is of the highest quality and the fine quality teak we insist on from all our suppliers is supremely workable and offers a super smooth finish all round.
Add to this the golden coloured lustre of the finished timber and you’ve got an unforgettable bench that will last for years.
Many mass produced benches are fitted together with bolts which may lead to a wobble over time.
Ours, however, are constructed using mortice and tenon joints reinforced with teak dowels that offers a solid and long lasting construction that remains intact over time.
And, of course, it’s a well known fact that teak is by far the best timber for outdoor use due to the naturally high oil content and very dense grain that gives protection against the elements all year round.
This makes the likelihood of the Kensington Bench cracking or splitting next to none.
