The alluring golden hue of the teak which is Grade A quality and held together by Mortice & Tenon joints with teak Dowells spliced in for extra durability.
The scroll-like rounding of the arms and the cross-slat back design work wonderfully to produce a piece of garden furniture that stands out for the right reasons.
And then there’s the classic rounded upright at the centre of the back piece – Edwin Lutyens crowning glory in his one-off garden bench design that has grabbed the hearts and souls of so many over the years – perhaps this is the very reason why it’s become so famous.
The superior quality of the finish means you don’t even need a cushion to get comfortable on it, (although if you’d prefer one, we do sell those as well.)
