The table itself is over two metres in diameter and the spacious curved benches allow up to 16 people dine in spacious comfort.
The teak is of the highest quality and offers the best example of the golden, honey-coloured hue that’s admired by so many with this timber.
The table top is 40mm thick and the 75cm square legs have a, ‘bottom stretcher,’ support that offers rigid stability to the whole thing and guarantees that annoying, ‘wobble,’ won’t occur over time.
Ergonomically Curved Benches …
With high backs that are angled back slightly and uniformly shaped curves, you don’t particularly need a cushion to dine in comfort and then enjoy the after dinner atmosphere with friends and family.
Perfect for outdoor use …
Teak has no rival in its suitability for outdoor use. The dense, oily nature of this timber offers natural resistance to the elements more effectively than any other timber and has the added advantage that it tops the likelihood of cracking and splitting occurring over time.
All you need to do is sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.
Over time the ageing process will turn the wood a silver-grey colour naturally and for purely cosmetic purposes you can restore the original aspect by cleaning vigorously with mild, soapy water. This is best done on a warm, sunny day to allow the wood to dry thoroughly.
