One Turn Hand Carved Side Table

One Turn is all it takes …
This chunky one turn table is hand carved.
A real eye-catcher with smoothed edges and a symmetrical turn running along the length from top to bottom it is formed from a single piece of timber.
The hardwood trunks of Mango Trees are used making the completed tables eco-friendly due to the fact that the timber is only harvested from trees that have reached the end of their fruit-bearing cycle and would be destroyed if not turned into ornamental tables and other pieces of timber.
The differing colours of the hardwood are due to the natural presence of Spalting in the timber which leads to the heartwood being a rich golden-brown with occasional splashes of red and the outer timber is a yellowish-brown colour that offers a great contrast to the whole piece.
Simple and understated with great beauty …
You could, in fact, use it as a stool as well if you prefer but it looks great as a side table or ornamental feature-piece as well.
It is surprisingly soft to the touch and light to handle at the same time for portability purposes. It is also kiln-dried which gives it a smooth finish and natural protection.
The underside has felt padding and it’s delivered free in a strong box to keep it looking like new.
