The Raffles Bench is hand-made from the finest quality teak and smoothly finished with rounded edges throughout.
Ergonomic suitability is a main feature of the design with a contoured seat and angled back you add a seat cushion as an aesthetic addition rather than a necessity for comfort.
The wide, flat arms are a practical feature as well, offering a handy platform to rest drinks and the like on when relaxing.
The construction is focused around long lasting usability with mortice and tenon joints further reinforced by teak dowels to ensure a wobble doesn’t occur with regular use.
And the fact it’s made from teak means it’s perfectly suited to outdoor use.
The high oil content and dense grain in this timber offer natural protection against the elements all year and make the likelihood of the wood cracking or splitting very unlikely.
It also gives the bench that low maintenance appeal.
The ageing process will turn the teak a silver-grey colour but for cosmetic purposes this can be removed with the use of our Teak Care Products.
