Ergonomic suitability is a main feature of the design with a contoured seat and angled back you add a seat cushion as an aesthetic addition rather than a necessity for comfort.
The inclusion of wide, flat arms make for a practical feature meaning the user has a platform to rest drinks and the like on when relaxing, or just giving a wide area to stretch the arms out on.
Long lasting usability is the major focus of the design where mortice and tenon joints are used which are further reinforced by teak dowels to guard against that annoying ‘wobble’ occurring with regular use.
It is well-known fact that teak has no rival as a timber for use in outdoor furniture.
High oil content and a dense grain occur naturally and this offers natural protection against the elements making the likelihood of cracking or splitting occurring very unlikely.
It also gives the bench that low maintenance appeal.
As the teak ages it will assume a silver-grey patina which, for purely cosmetic purposes can be removed by using of our range of Teak Care Products.
