It’s difficult to believe that Roger’s life-like design is hand-made entirely from recycled, 44-gallon shipping drums but that is the case.
Right down to the plumes of feathers and spiked feet.
They’re great for inside the home but just as happy outside as well. In fact, the base materials they’re made from mean they’ll stand up to whatever the British weather has to throw at them for years.
And they won’t wake the neighbours unlike their real-life counterparts …
To give you a little background, all of our Roger’s are the brainchild of an Australian jewellery maker named Aaron Jackson.
He’s got a huge collection of very unique designs based around a variety of themes – farmyard animals are just the tip of the iceberg – examples of his other themes can be seen in the other ornaments that make up our array of recycled metal beauties.
Once the prototype has been finalised this is then taken to purpose-built workshops in Vietnam to be mass-produced by hand using skilled crafts-people who are trained specifically in metal working.
This offers regular income to local villagers overseas which increases their quality of livelihood.
These garden ornaments are all handmade and unique so colours may vary.
