And, what’s more, we offer three sizes with this being the largest at 1.8 metres.
However, they are all hand made by the finest quality crafts people overseas who use mortice and tenon joints reinforced with teak dowels for that long lasting appeal and attention to detail.
They’re each fitted with stainless steel, rust-free hinges and capped feet are offered as standard raising them off the floor for added protection during damper and colder periods.
The lid is propped open with hinged teak supports making filling it hassle free with no trapped fingers!
Slatted side panels provide ventilation keeping the items inside fresher during periods of longer storage …
Teak is naturally equipped with a very dense, oily nature making it by far the most superior timber for outdoor use at the mercy of the elements throughout the UK.
External applications are not needed to prevent cracking or splitting occurring over time – particularly with the finest quality teak that we use.
Cosmetically we recommend you refer to our Teak Care Advice for guidance on helping or removing the ageing process if the golden hue of newer teak is preferred to the classic silver-grey colour of aged teak.
