The table is expertly hand-crafted using mortice and tenon reinforced with teak dowels so it won’t develop that ‘wobble’ over time that is so commonly associated with inferior quality brands found on the market today.
It is also sturdily reinforced underneath with a system of teak rivets, (see featured picture).
The chunky legs are an impressive 11cm thick and the double table top is 12cm thick …
Each one is cut to the same dimensions but the fact they’re handmade from scratch makes each one unique.
The grain is depicted vividly with a black wash and the table top is double thickness – both a practical and aesthetic feature.
All joints are smoothed out to the point where you run your hand over the surface and you wouldn’t know they were there.
The York table can also be purchased separately, just like the chairs.

The weave is wrapped around an aluminium frame that won’t rust and the feet are capped for added protection both for the dining set and the surface it’s on.
